CO2 Laser Cutting
Laser cutting technology uses a laser beam to slice materials. It is most commonly used for industrial manufacturing projects. It is also rising in popularity for use by schools, hobbyists and small businesses. Laser cutting works by directing the beam of a high-power laser most commonly through optics. The laser optics and CNC (computer numerical control) are used to direct the material or the laser beam generated.
For Commercial applications, laser cutting materials uses a motion control system to follow a code of the pattern to be cut onto the material. The precise laser beam is directed towards the material. It then either burns, melts, vaporises away, or is blown away by a jet of gas, leaving a cut surface finish of a very high quality
